2026 Scholarship: Continuing Education

ASIS&T will award as many 2026 CE Scholarships as possible within the funded limit of USD $8,800.00, pending submission of eligible applications. Applications are due by midnight Pacific Time, Tuesday, July 7, 2026.

Please upload an essay of 500 - 1000 words about how receiving this scholarship will benefit your career in librarianship/information science and your interest in and involvement with ASIS&T (and previously SLA if applicable). 

Generative AI tools should not be used to write the essay. All essays will be run through an AI detector and those deemed to have been written in part or in whole with AI will be disqualified.

Include your name and the degree program/school in the header of the essay.

If I am granted a scholarship and cannot complete the coursework for the current term, I agree to notify the ASIS&T Board and return the funds, if required, depending upon circumstances.
